Today there are many risks that our youth face day-to-day.  One of the real crisis is that today the young generation does not know God.  Really home is where the battleground is.  As the home goes, so the nation goes.  May we pray that the Lord guide us to give our youth the truth of God’s Word in our homes.

In Ecclesiastes 12:1 the Bible says:  “Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;”  Today there are no biblical values being taught in most homes across our nation.  What are you allowing your children to do?  Do you even know what they are doing? 

As a pastor I will stand behind any of our parents who try to instill God’s Word into their children.  As a faithful pastor I will stand with you in your fight and pray.  I pray for all of our families, especially the children.  Are we dedicating our lives as parents to make our homes what they should be?  In Ecclesiastes 12:1 we are being commanded to remember God in our youth so that we can enjoy all of the days of our lives.  Amen!
