This world that we live in is not as God intended.  When we read in Genesis chapter 3, we quickly discover that Sin messed everything up, including the pains of natural disasters.  Even though the world is not as God intended and people live in a fallen world God has not left us alone.  In fact God has provided a helper for His children.  The Holy Spirit helps those in need and helps believers pray.  If we didn’t have the Holy Spirit as a helper this world would be too much.  God in His great providence provides a helper because he knows our needs before we do.  Don’t let the pains of this world keep you from trusting and relying on God and realize the help that He provides for you and me. 

Let me encourage you to read Romans 8:18-27.  The main idea behind this passage is that God gives a helper to those who are suffering in this world which is a result of sin.  Amen!
