Don't we sometimes assume we have all of the time in the world? We waste away so many hours and days on meaningless and purposeless things that really make no difference in the grand scheme of things. There are many people who look back on thier life with regret.

In Proverbs 27:1 the Bible says: “Boast not thyself of tomorrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.”  Pastor and Author, Dr. Adrian Rogers once said: “We ought to be living as if Jesus died yesterday, rose this morning, and is coming back this afternoon.”  Solomon said in Ecclesiastes, that this life is like a vapor, here today and gone tomorrow.

I believe that the return of Jesus Christ is imminent and that His return could occur at any moment.  As Christians we should live life to the fullest, as if every day were our last.  The fact that Jesus is going to return should motivate us to live every day in of the nearness of Christ’s return.  Amen!
