God's Love Never Fails!

From The Heart of Pastor Shane (May 14, 2019)

In 1 Corinthians 13:8 the Bible says: “Charity (love) never fails.”  There are a lot of misunderstandings today about the love of God.  We hear people say they “love” their house or their car.  What we must understand from this passage is that the love of God never decreases, it never diminishes, it is never lost and praise God it never fails either.

Friend, if you sin, God still loves you, if you are good, He still loves you, even when you are bad, He still loves.  God loves you when you are serving Him and in His house and He loves you when you are not serving Him also.  God still loves you when you are laying out of church.  The Bible says that “perfect love never fails.”  God’s love is perfect!

You will never find a time when God does not love you.  God loves the atheist that has said there is no God.  God loves the man or woman that has left their family.  God loves those who are serving in jail.  God loves you before you are born and He loves you while you live.  God loves those who have committed crimes.  We cannot love the way that God loves.

You cannot go far enough to escape the love of God, you cannot go deep enough to get away from the love of God.  God loves me today, He loves you today.  The love of God is greater than the mountains are high, and it is greater than the oceans are deep.  We need the kind of love that God has and we should cry out to God and ask Him to help us love people like He does.  The good news is that God loves you more than anything.  He loves you so much that He gave His Son for you.  Romans chapter 8:35-37 says that nothing can separate us from the love of God.  Amen!
