God Will Forgive Sin!

From The Heart of Pastor Shane (July 15, 2019)

Have you ever messed up in life before?  We all mess up at times.  We are told in the Bible that you can sink in your own sin.  It’s staying under that will cause you to sink and drown.  In 2 Thessalonians 2:10-12 we read these words: “And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

There are many people who will perish because they’ve made decision to refuse the truth of God’s Word.  Most people do not want to take orders from God.  Most people would rather control their own lives.  The Word of God is God’s written truth.  ANYONE who disagrees with one dot in God’s Word has rejected the truth and embraced a lie.

People have a choice to accept God and His word and He will give them truth or people have the choice to reject God and His word and refuse His love and truth.  It’s pretty simple, God will give you whatever you want.  You’ll either live daily for God or you won’t.

What I would like for you to get from today’s devotion is this:  Falling into sin will not cause you to sink.  Staying IN sin will cause you to sink and drown.  God loves each of us too much for us to stay in sin.  He wants us to leave sin.  We must remember that nobody is too far under that our mighty God cannot and will not forgive them of their sin.  What a Mighty God We Serve!  Amen!
