Many people put their faith in many things.  Hebrews 11:1 gives us a Biblical view of faith:  "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."  For the Christian, nothing is as important as faith.  Real faith is believing God at His Word.  Romans 10:17 declares that faith is the result of hearing God speak through the Word of God.

The Word of God produces faith in the matter of our Salvation.  In order to truly be saved and believe in the free gift of salvation requires real faith.  In fact, the Bible proclaims that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).  Without faith in God, we have no place with Him.  I believe that God exists by faith. As the old hymn goes, “I’m living by faith, trusting and confiding in His great love.”

Hebrews chapter 11 is the real faith chapter of the Bible.  To live a real and authentic Christian life, you must understand that real faith is trusting God at His Word and then living by the Word in faith.  The Bible says it only takes the faith that is the size of a grain of mustard seed.  I believe fully in the one, true God without actually having to see Him.  Amen!
