Do you realize in your life that there is freedom through the resurrection power and authority of Jesus Christ?  Galatians 5:1 teaches that “it is for freedom that  Christ has set us free and to stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”

What things are you clinging to in life?  What sins do you hold on to?  Are you in bondage to fleshly lust such as overeating, pornography, sexual immorality, addictions, etc.?  These types of sin weigh us down and entangle us into a web when it comes to our spiritual life.  Satan’s lies are of this world and tie us down bringing emotions of ungodly feelings and actions of unrighteousness.  God’s Word, which is the truth allows emotions of Godly feelings and actions of righteousness. 

This week ask God to bring your mind and heart to a place where Satan and his lies have taken root.  In our lives we must pray asking for God’s protection from the influence of Satan.  “Then you will know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH will set you free (John 8:32).  Amen!
