Falsely Accussed!

From The Heart of Pastor Shane (March 22, 2019)

Have you ever been falsely accused of something you did not do?  How did it make you feel?  I know from personal experience it is a very overwhelming and offensive feeling.  Being falsely accused is very difficult to deal with when you are misunderstood or misjudged.  The way we deal with false accusations really determines the situation.  In Acts chapter 6, we read about Stephen who was a person who lived his life helping people, but he was falsely accused.  The same was true about our Lord Jesus Christ.

I have learned that we can respond appropriately with God’s help to those who treat us wrong.  The most important thing any of us can do is live a life of integrity. I believe we must remain humble, but answer boldly to those who falsely accuse us.  Another important thing is to remain faithful to what God has called you to do.  Satan is trying to side-track people from doing what God has asked them to do.  We must realize that if God has called us, then He will see that His mission is accomplished.

The final thing that we must all do when is be willing to forgive and realize that Jesus holds our future.  In Matthew 6:25 the Bible says: “Whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it.”  On Christ the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.  Just remember that “Vengeance is mine saith the Lord.”  Amen!
