Have you ever noticed that some Christians seem to have more problems than others?  II Thessalonians 1:1-12 gives us some encouraging words from God.  For every trial in our lives there is a purpose although that concept may be hard for many to grasp.  I want you to know that whatever you are going through in this life is hasn’t caught God off guard.  There are no surprises to God.

We must realize that trouble increases our faith and then we grow in our faith, but it must be exercised.  Our faith only grows and is increased as we are tested.  Some act wrong and grow bitter when thing go wrong in their lives.  God has a good for even our worse days.  Paul teaches us here that our faith and love are growing through our trials.

Friends, don’t give up hope.  You may not be able to see the reasons for things, but you must trust and believe that God is working behind the scenes.  Romans 8:28 says:   “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”  Now those are encouraging words.  Amen!
