There are certain situations we all face that cause us to be distracted in life.  There is nothing that unnerves me anymore than being distracted when I am trying to mediate on my job or the the things of God.  Distractions can cause us to loose focus on our spiritual life and what God has in store for us.  The devil will use distractions to keep us from focusing on God’s will for our lives.

In Hebrews 3:1 we read: “Fix your eyes upon Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.”  In ever single thing we do in this life from our plans, ministries, prayers, devotions, Jesus should be first in our lives.  Jesus is to be our life!  Being intimate with Jesus in our prayer and devotional life is a must to prevent from being side-tracked or distracted from walking with Him on a daily basis  When we see ourselves getting off focus on His will for our lives, we must switch our focus back on Him.

Dear friend, the enemy will act to distract you.  We must remember that when God’s priorities become our priorities that it will be much easier for us to stay focused on the purpose of our lives and not be distracted.  Amen!
