Scripture teaches that we should place God first in our life.  Everything we do on a daily basis should be placed before God as an offering.  Romans 12:1-2 says:  “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.  And be not conformed to this world: but ye be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

As a Christian, you have the responsibility to not pattern your life after the world’s value system.  When you are out in the woods that are camouflaged, it is hard to see and discern what is out there. When you camouflage your life with the culture and philosophy of this world you lose your ability to discern right from wrong.

The Bible says that we should have knowledge of right from wrong.  The cure for not being camouflaged is to renew your mind by a willing response to His Word and His ways.  When we have sin in our life we do not realize what it is because the nature of sin is that it destroys the capacity to know you sin.  When sin goes, you can realize what it is.

The cure for a camouflaged Christian can be found in I John 1:9: “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all righteousness.”  Amen!
