The Word of God teaches that eternal life is not something we enter into when we die, but eternal life is something that we enter into the moment that we trust the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. When I gave my life to the Lord Jesus at the age of fifteen years, I obtained eternal life at that very moment.

Do you realize that right now that if you are reading this devotion, then you are alive physically, but if you have accepted Christ as Savior of your life and given Him your life, then you will always be alive spiritually, because you have life in Jesus Christ. The only life that Christ gives is eternal life.

Have you given your life to Jesus? The Bible says that we have been redeemed by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. That means my friend that we have been bought. When you accept Jesus and you get saved, you are then free from sin and you are free to serve Jesus Christ.

John 10:27-28 reads, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life."
