God Has A Plan & Promise!

From The Heart of Pastor Shane (February 6, 2017)

Don't be fooled. Even though we are physically and geographically seperated by thousands and thousands of miles, the middle-east region affects our lives so much that it may as well be next door. There has been constant trouble, tribulation, and terrorism and now we must go back over 4,000 years ago to the year 2,000 B.C.

In Genesis 12:1-3 we read: Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: 3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

God chose Abraham and tells him that from him is going to come a great nation that is going to be his chosen people and that they will be a blessing to all other nations. God promised He would make Abraham's name great. God promised that all the peoples of the earth would be blessed through Abraham's descendents. God promised them a land of endlness possession (Ezekiel 11:17). In May of 1948, a nation was born.

The bottom line is, God has a plan and God keeps His promises. God's plan is moving forward and there is coming a day when the King of the Jews, a Jewish Messiah, who is the Savior of the World and the Lord of this universe, will fulfill His promise and be our King and Lord forever. When this day comes, the troubles, tribulations, and terrorism of this world will be over. My prayer is found in Revelation 20:20, "Even so, come Lord Jesus." AMEN!
