There is an old hymn that we sometimes sing in church that is entitled “Grace Greater Than Our Sin,” and the chorus of that hymn goes like this: “Grace, grace, God’s grace, Grace that will pardon and cleanse within; Grace, grace, God’s grace, Grace that is greater than all our sin.”  

What we must understand about grace is that nothing we do will make God love us more, and nothing we do makes Him love us less.  In Galatians chapter 1 the Bible illustrates that Paul’s encounter with God and His grace completely changed his life.  The goals that Paul had in his life were totally changed.

I encourage you to take your Bible and read today, Galatians chapter 1.  Remember, getting to grace in your own life is important.  When you finally understand what God’s grace means, you will never want to leave it because you will discover that there is no security apart from God’s grace.  His “GRACE IS GREATER THAN OUR SIN!”  Amen!
