Our Time On Earth Is Limited!

From The Heart of Pastor Shane (December 31, 2018 & January 1, 2019)

It seems like I just sat down at my desk to write a New Year's devotion for 2018, but 2018 has came and gone. I have to admit that 2018 was the most difficult year of my life, but even through the storms of life, I still give God praise for His many blessings.

As we enter into 2019, we must realize that our time on earth is limited. In the Bible we see where the Psalmist tells us to number our days. None of us have any guarantee of only one more day to live. The Bible teaches that we cannot count tomorrow because tomorrow may not come on this earth.

Our time on earth is limited and for that reason we need to make the most out of it. What will you do with 2019? Will you number your days and develop a heart of wisdom?

Psalm 39:4 reads, "Lord, Make me to know mine end, And the measure of my days, what it is; That I may know how frail I am."

Psalm 90:10 says, "The days of our years are threescore years and ten; And if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, Yet is their strength labour and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away."

Amen!
