Having a negative and criticizing spirit is a destructive behavior. For many, negativity and criticizing other people comes naturally. The Bible has many scriptures that back that this type of beavior reflects what is going on inside of a person. When people tear down and criticize others with negativity, it reflects the condition of their heart.

If you want to reflect the condition of your heart, then just listen to what is coming out of your mouth. What is going on in your life? Are you living a life of negativity? Does a criticizing spirit indwell within you? We should not waste our time criticizing and being negative toward others. Negativity will hinder God's kingdom work.

The Bibles reads, "The mouth of a righteous man is a well of life: But violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. Hatred stirreth up stifes: But love covereth all sins. (Proverbs 10:11-12).
